Chuck began woodworking as a hobby in 1992 after watching numerous episodes of Norm Abram's New Yankee Workshop. After purchasing some basic tools, he began making a number of projects, some of which were based upon Norm Abram's books and TV shows. Over the years, his tool collection has improved dramatically and now he has a pretty well equipped basement shop.
Most (but not all) of the furniture he builds are in the colonial, shaker or arts & crafts style, although several modern pieces have been built as well. Some of his projects were built at the request of friends and relatives to fill a particular need, or given as presents to friends, relatives and his secretaries.
